The goal of the business retention and expansion (BRE) program is to:
Increase the competitiveness of the business
Expand or add new jobs
Create continuity plans in order to survive economic difficulties
Connect the business to networks
Linking existing businesses to sources of capital
The DCR assists local businesses in their success by making targeted investments in local infrastructure, developing skills in the local workforce, and providing assistance with permitting and licensing.
