They seek to advise and support strategies to pursue and retain an environment where businesses are successful and communities can become even stronger. Whether site selection, incentives, or many other parts of business growth, they are here to help! The Development Corporation of Richmond (DCR) Board of Directors are selected by the City Commission. In conjunction with Richmond's City Manager, the DCR supervises the Economic Development Director.

They serve two-year terms and are charged with:

• seeking to attract new jobs,

• making sound infrastructure investments, and

• improving the quality of life for the community.
