The Development Corporation of Richmond (DCR) has a new board member, Cody Frederick. Frederick brings an insight of experience and knowledge as he joins the seven-member DCR board.
Cody Frederick made his way to Richmond, Texas, when he and his wife Aimee founded Blockhouse Coffee and Kitchen in 2017. In the early 1820’s, a group of colonists led by Stephen F. Austin constructed a blockhouse style fort in a bend of the Brazos River near present day Richmond, TX. This blockhouse was known as Fort Bend, and later became the namesake of our county.
Blockhouse Coffee & Kitchen is named in tribute to the rich history of Fort Bend County and Richmond, TX.Frederick and Aimee are the parents of two children.
